Hugo Fanzine
Abandoned Towers is a bit new to all this, but we feel that we currently qualify in the Hugo category of “Best Fanzine”. Of course, it’s really up to you, the fans, whether you agree with that or not. We believe we’ll qualify for the 2012 Hugos. Nominations will be open in early 2013 for those who are interested.
Although we aspire to eventually be considered in the Semiprozine category, we’re not there yet.
We realize that talking about this might rub some people the wrong way, but that’s not our intention at all. We just want people to know that we’d appreciate being considered, and we’d encourage you to check out recent preliminary Hugo Nominees* (from the 2010 awards):
